Jump Start1. Are there two separate Jumpstart programs? No there is only one Jump start program
2. Can travel players participate in Jumpstart? Typically, a week before Jump Start begins which is usually a week after Travel teams are finalized.. Wizards board of directors decides if any of the travel teams will participate in the jump start season. If they are chosen to participle in Jump start it will be FREE. If a team is not granted free participation, then a travel player wanting to join jump start will only be charged $100 to participate in Jump Start training and games when it doesn't conflict with travel. Travel would be priority.
3. What is the practice/game schedule for Jumpstart?
A - Training on Monday and / or Wednesday Nights @ 2 Villa Drive Edison NJ (Inman Sports Complex)
* Typical schedule is
5:30 pm - K-2nd Co-Ed
6:15 pm - 3-5th Co-Ed
7 pm - 7-9th Co-Ed
B - Games are on Saturday & occasional Sunday
* Typical game schedule
8:30, 9 am - K-2
9:30, 10:15 am - 3-5th
11, 11:45 am - 7-8th
4. Is there a deadline to pay for the season in full for travel/AAU league?
- We offer payment plans for all levels. The initial fee is mandatory, then a parent can try and use fundraising to pay off balance. Uniform fee is separate $85
- We offer some sponsorships for those who qualify for financial hardship with an email inquiry
- Deadline to pay off balance is exactly one month before last game is scheduled, unless arrangements are made
5. When is our first games being played? Will it be during the week or weekends ONLY? Each season varies as to when we start games. Most of the time games are played on the weekends. There are occasional games on Friday. Scrimmages can be any day of the week all year round.
6. Will parents be allowed in for practices? For games? If so, is there a limit?
Parents are not encouraged to attend practices; (coaches' option) parents are welcomed to watch games. Most of the time media team will post clips of practice and all games its entirety for parents to view on our Game Changer app
7. If a practice is cancelled, will that practice be rescheduled? TBD as many variables come into play.
8. Are all games/practices indoors and outdoors? All practices and games during the winter season is indoor. Spring and fall are a combination of both. Summer is mostly outdoors with a few indoor events or practices.
9. When will we receive a Fall schedule for the games?? Every season fall, winter, spring and fall a full schedule will be posted one week after season begins
10. What league are we a part of? Depending on the season we can enroll in many leagues. CJB, Hoop Group, A-game, FCP, Marquee, Big Time, Live periods, Adidas Circuit, JBA, JBL, Premier 1 Events, Puma Circuit teams, CP3 League, Home Tournaments and so many more choices as we are constantly searching.
Will there be a meeting with the parents? Every Season we host a couple parent meeting after teams are selected.
